The TechQuarters employees are training hard for the Virgin Active Triathlon that will be taking place on August 2nd 2014, and Chris has certainly put the bar pretty high after the weekend.
He took part in the Financial Times London Cycle where he covered 109km in just 4 hours and 45 minutes. The ride started in Dulwich Park and took the bikers out to the stunning Surrey Hills, requiring them to take on Box Hill which was covered by Mark Cavendish and Lizze Amistead in the London Olympics back in 2012.
The Medium route that Chris took gave a total height climb of 812 meters, which had a maximum elevation of 275 meters, leading riders through the North Downs, giving them some incredible views over the Surry/Kent countryside and Biggin Hill as well as the lanes between Reigate and Dorking, which took them onto the Box Hill climb.
Great effort Chris, and no pressure on the rest of us on training for the Triathlon…
